  I have been asked by a few of the tuners to develop a breather for the LS2 / LS1. With supercharging
and nitrous comes increased compression and blow by. Problem is with this blow by comes increased crankcase pressures,
a bad thing. This can result in oil leaks among other problems. Using an LS2 / LS1 oil cap I have reengineered
it and turned it into a high quality breather. You get the same positive locking fit of your current oil cap but now
you have a built in breather. Easy to grip ridges make for an easy on / off. I am offering three styles of breathers
that all fit under the stock C6 hood with room to spare for the C5 they fit but the red/blue touch the hoodliner.. If
you have any question regarding your application you should consult your tuner.

Full Chrome Breather With or Without Etching
This breather uses a reusable foam element that is washable and accessible under the screw off cap (no
oiling required). This new one piece (oil cap/breather) design replaces the stock oil cap.

The name you know, this is a lifetime filter and
comes with K&N’s trademark red oil (filter will turn red). Topped with a chrome cap and the trademark K&N
embossed in the cover. Upon receipt apply the oil as per the instructions provided and you will be ready to go.
If needed wash it out and re-oil as needed. This new one (oil cap/breather) piece design replaces the stock oil cap.

Filtered Cotton Breather in Red or Blue
These combine function and cool looks. Chrome top and bottom with a cone shape in your choice of
red or blue. This filter does not use oil, just use some compressed air to clean it out. This new one (oil cap/breather)
piece design replaces the stock oil cap.
NOTE: These caps are designed for off road use. They may be in violation of inspection
/ emissions laws in various state. Sorry had to say it.
